In the Hollywood industry, it is perhaps more important to get the makeup right for celebrities than anything else. Wearing just the correct amount of makeup on red carpets and during film promotions is not enough nowadays. With paparazzi constantly in tow, stars have to make sure they look their very best at all times. This might’ve been felt by Maria Shriver recently.

Who Is Maria Shriver?
An author, journalist, member of the Kennedy family, and former First Lady of California, Maria Shiver is the wife of former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger. Once Arnold took office, Maria took it upon herself to launch several key initiatives as the First Lady including raising awareness of the contributions of women to the state, working to resolve the problem of poverty, and encouraging Californians to serve their community.
Before committing herself to public service, Shriver was an anchor and journalist. She was the main anchor for NBC News from 1986-2004 and she joined them once again as a special anchor working on women’s issues in 2013 after Arnold left office. She got married to Schwarzenegger in 1986 and had four children together, two boys and two girls. The duo got divorced in 2021 even though they had been separated for the past ten years.

Fans Aren’t Loving Maria Shriver’s New Look
Maria was out and about with her day in Santa Monica, California when she was photographed by the paparazzi and soon her pictures went viral creating havoc among fans and on social media. In the pictures, she could be seen sporting a new look where she went completely makeup-free as she stopped by the construction site of her new home.
Dressed casually in black leggings, a purple T-shirt and a pair of gray sneakers, Shriver looked comfortable with her appearance but what she probably didn’t anticipate was the hate and trolling she would have to face on social media. One user on Twitter wrote, “Maria Shriver…woman, man or Klingon” while another commented, “Looks like an elderly ninja turtle.” From the looks of it, fans are having a hard time appreciating the 66-year-old journalist’s simplicity.
