The Hawkins’ super kids will be back for one last final mission in the fifth and final season of ‘Stranger Things’. The two parts of season four had some of the most terrifying moments with Vecna, the demogorgon that has emerged to threaten the peace in Hawkins. After the Starvourt Battle, El leaves Indiana and shifts to California.
In season four of ‘Stranger Things’, Hawkins’ kids get alerted after the brutal killing of Chrissy at Eddie’s trailer, where she goes into a trance and the killer pops her eyes out. Max, played by Sadie Sink, also becomes the victim, but she escapes the first time. But the gang uses her as bait to send Vecna into a portal, which leaves the audience on a cliffhanger about whether Max survived it. The makers have hinted at the future of Max in a new picture.

The Hawkins gang is ready for their last mission as the Vecna fear still lingers at Hawkins in the fifth and final season of ‘Stranger Things’. While there were delays due to the writer’s strike, the production of the fifth season is finally back!
Ross Duffer, one of the creators, shared a picture from what looked like a reading of the fifth season of ‘Stranger Things’. Netflix also shared the picture, writing, “THIS IS A CODE RED! STRANGER THINGS 5 production has officially begun!!!”
In the black-and-white picture, there is a luminous red ‘5’ in the background. Matt and Ross are standing, with Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp sitting on the sofa together. There was Finn Wolfard, who plays Mike Wheeler, with a script on his lap.
However, among everyone, the eagle-eyed fans spotted Saddie Sink among the cast members. This meant that Max Mayfield survived Vecna’s attack and would come out of a coma.

Sadie Sink came on board in season two of ‘Stranger Things’ as Max Mayfield, the stepsister of Billy Hargrove. She shifts with his erratic brother to Hawkins from California and becomes an integral member of the gang, as in season four, she helps them end Vecna, risking her life.
In December 2022, Sadie Sink appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’, where she spilled the beans about lying to The Duffer Brothers about knowing her way around a skateboard. She went through the audition process and got locked into the role. The makers sent her a skateboard to learn, but she has never ridden one in her entire life.
Sadie told Jimmy Kimmel, “I said I had rollerblading experience, which is just a lie. And the two don’t go hand-in-hand, so I don’t know why I thought that would mean anything.”
