The WWE star John Cena made his superhero movies debut with James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. In the film, Cena played the character of the Peacemaker, An Antihero with a twisted sense of freedom. HBO extended Cena’s Appearance as Peacemaker by casting him in his own series. The series directed by James Gunn garnered a lot of traction within the DC fan circles and in the general audience. Recently, the wrestler-turned-actor had a hilarious observation in the teaser of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor: Love & Thunder.
What Reaction Did John Cena Have?
Marvel Studio has released the teaser of Thor: Love & Thunder. The teaser has received a “thunderous” reaction from the Marvel fanatics making it the fourth most-viewed trailer in 24 hours. It received 209 million views in 24 hours. Other trailers on the list include Avengers: Infinity War; Avengers: Endgame; and Spiderman: No Way Home.
In the teaser, we see Chris Hemsworth united with the Guardians of the Galaxy following the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame. The highlight of the film is the end minutes when Natalie Portman appears with a Mjølnir in the Thor costume.
But, the observant eye of The Peacemaker John Cena spotted a similarity in his character and that of Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor. He took it to Twitter to explain the popularity of the teaser and tweeted, “This might be just because of that slick looking chrome helmet and maybe enthusiasts getting excited for a @Marvel @DCComics crossover chrome helmet showdown?”

Fans Reacted To Cena’s Tweet
With this minor observation, similarity, and the possible crossover of the DCU and MCU, the fans could not keep their calm. Peacemaker and Guardians of the Galaxy director, James Gunn, too replied to this tweet from John Cena. He tweeted, “True, true. Very observant, John.” We are yearning for this “chrome over” to happen with James Gunn helming the project. He also directed Guardians Of the Galaxy, which is a prominent part of the new Thor film.
True, true. Very observant, John.
