Why Does Eminem Hate The Grammy Awards?
If we talk about the Grammys, the controversial relationship between Eminem and the Grammys is a must to talk about. Eminem has been a die-hard critic of the whole show and swore never to attend it. In an interview, he revealed why he hates the Grammys. He said, “I’m tired of seeing it. For whatever reason, they’re always pitching this hint that you might win album of the year, which used to be a big deal. I don’t think it’s a big deal now.”
Eminem went on to say, “I sat at home this year for the Grammys and watched Jay and Kendrick not get it, and I felt like one of them should have got it,” he said referring to the award being given to Bruno Mars. He concluded by saying that his answer would always be a no and he would never go to the Grammys.

Which Other Celebrities Have Boycotted The Grammys?
The Weeknd also expressed his disgust towards the Grammys by calling it “corrupt.” The Canadian artist slammed the recording academy by stating that his work was not appreciated and that his fans also deserve better.
Another rap sensation, Drake has also pointed out the fledgling reputation and appeal of the Grammys. He posted on Instagram, “I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards and just accept that what once was the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artists that exist now and the ones that come after.”
The former member of One Direction Zayn Malik also slammed the recording academy when he didn’t receive any nomination. He wrote in more than exasperation, “Confectionary may not be enough.”
Other musicians like Machine Gun Kelly, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, and Justin Bieber have also spoken out about the way the Recording Company operates and the snubs.
