The slow-burning love story of Chandler Bing and Monica Geller on ‘Friends’ will be forever etched in the hearts of the fans.
Along with the episodes that followed their story, there were hilarious ones that the fans remembered as they kicked off the Thanksgiving festivities. One of the episodes, ‘The One With All the Thanksgivings, from the fifth season, was a memorable one.
In the episode, Monica Geller tries to make Chandler Bing giggle as he learns that Monica dropped the knife on his toe to take revenge for calling her fat. So, to cheer Bing up, Courtney Cox’s character cheers him up by putting a turkey with glasses on her head.

Courtney Cox recreated the scene this Thanksgiving to wish her fans a happy holiday. The actress started the video by wishing her fans Thanksgiving and snapping out, remembering that she recreated the scene three years ago. However, when she calms down, Courtney puts a turkey on her head with glasses with a ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ text flashing in orange.
In a 2016 interview, the director, Kevin S. Bright, confirmed that they did not use a real turkey on Courtney and Matt’s heads due to health hazards.
He told Entertainment Weekly, “It’s meat, it would need to be refrigerated between takes, and it’s going to be under hot lights — you’re going to put that on Courteney Cox’s head? I don’t really think so.”

The Actress Extended Heartfelt Tribute To Matthew
The world mourned the death of Matthew Perry, but it was more devastating for the leading cast of ‘Friends’ than anyone else. After the death, the world awaited a response from the co-stars. They did receive a joint statement obtained by People, but the fans felt healed and nostalgic when each actor posted a separate post, reminiscing about the time with Perry.
Courtney Cox also extended a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. Cox recalled the story behind the one-night fling that was the inception of the love story between Monica and Chandler. She shared two clips—one with the actual scene and the other with an extended cut. The actress captioned the post, writing, “I am so grateful for every moment I had with you Matty and I miss you every day.”
She continued, “When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share. For now, here’s one of my favorites.” Courtney went on to narrate the backstory of the make-out scene between Bing and Geller.
