“It’s Literally Psychotic”: Billie Eilish Seemingly Shades Taylor Swift For “Three Hour Long” Concerts

Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift‘s fresh feud might just have escalated as the ‘Bored‘ singer has taken another apparent dig at Swift. Days after trashing artists who release multiple vinyl variants of their music without concerns for the environment, Billie Eilish has now criticized the three-hour long concerts without taking any names.

Internet is quite sure about the dig being directed at Taylor Swift as the pop sensation has been touring the world for her Eras Tour and performing for three hours straight with some unmatchable energy. Here’s what Eilish said and what the internet thinks of it.

Billie Eilish has sparked yet another controversy with Taylor Swift at the center of it, as she recently made comments about three-hour music shows. The singer recently hosted a Spotify Stationhead-style ‘Listening Party,’ where she seemingly took a jab at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour, both known for their lengthy durations.

During the livestream of the event held on Thursday, Eilish said, “I’m not doing a three hour show, that’s literally psychotic. Nobody wants that. You guys don’t want that, I don’t want that, you know what I’m saying? I don’t even want that as a fan.”

Even my favorite artist in the world, I’m not tryna hear them for three hours. You know what I mean? It’s far too long,” she added with a laugh. Though she did not name anyone in the comment, social media users are sure that the comment is directed at Taylor Swift as well as Beyonce, who are known to hold hours-long concerts.

The internet, as usual, was quick to react to Billie’s comments. Many fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their discontent, labeling her as “not a girl’s girl“. A second fan suggested that Eilish herself can’t do such long concerts, which is why she is trashing the artists who can. “she doesn’t want that bc she can’t do that,” the comment read.

Billie doesn’t have enough songs to last her a 3 hour show,” another fan commented, while a fourth one added, “the worst thing this girl could do was mess with Taylor Swift”. Another fan cautioned her about the potential backlash, and asked her to “stop digging before you drown.”

This isn’t the first time Eilish has stirred controversy among Swifties. In March, she seemingly shaded Taylor Swift by criticizing artists who release multiple vinyl packages despite knowing the environmental harm they cause. Some Swift fans interpreted this as a personal attack on Swift, known for her various vinyl editions.

Besides, Eilish’s recent album release, ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’, also coincided with Swift’s three new vinyl editions of her album ‘The Tortured Poets Department. Many then accused Taylor of trying to overshadow Eilish’s album release with her own vinyl editions.
