The iconic trifecta of the 2000s were Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Britney Spears. While they were the center of several controversies, the trio gave some of the best pop culture moments to the fans. They separated, got busy with their lives, and struggled to be a part of the industry. However, the duo, Paris and Britney, remained together, admiring the work that they put out.
Recently, Britney Spears released the most-anticipated memoir of 2023, ‘The Woman In Me’. For the longest time, the media dominated and twisted Britney’s narrative, causing great harm to her image. But, with the new memoir, the ‘Toxic’ singer took the agency of her story and made some explosive confessions. Paris Hilton appeared on Kelly Clarkson’s talk show and gave her reaction after reading the book.
Britney Spears’ Kindness Quote Meant A Lot To Paris Hilton
Recently, Paris Hilton appeared on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’. During the show, Kelly Clarkson pointed at the selfie that Paris uploaded with Spears circa 2006. Kelly went on to highlight how both Y2K icons published their memoirs in 2023.
Kelly Clarkson noted that Britney Spears, in ‘The Woman In Me’, wrote that Paris Hilton was the only kind person when she needed kindness. The singer admitted that it was refreshing to read something that uplifted someone instead of criticizing them.
Paris Hilton said, “I was crying when I read that, that really touched me. She’s just so strong, I love her so much and I’m just so proud of her for speaking her truth and writing this whole book. That quote meant a lot to me when I read it.”
The Memoir Is Already In Talks For Adaptation
Britney Spears achieved a great feat with her memoir, ‘The Woman In Me’. The book sold 1.1 million copies in its first week in the US. Within a few days of the release, Deadline released a report, reporting that the memoir is in talks for adaptation into a television series, film, or documentary.
Another report by Page Six revealed that major Hollywood celebrities like Brad Pitt and Reese Witherspoon are eyeing gaining rights for the adaptation. It was reported that Britney was so overwhelmed by the attention that she made her team “hold off on making any major decisions about where the rights end up until she has time to catch her breath.”
Margot Robbie was also reportedly wanting to adapt Britney Spears’ memoir into a film or TV series. However, during Variety’s Power of Women 2023, the actress cleared the air. When asked about the same, the ‘Barbie’ actress said, “No, I’m just hearing that tonight.”
