Ever since the release of Doctor Strange 2, there has been a lot of buzz among MCU fans. Just in its opening weekend, the movie made 450 million dollars at the worldwide box office.
Now the question occurs what are the two credit scenes featuring in “Doctor Strange 2.” One plays during the middle of the credits and the other plays at the end. The mid-credit scene is the one that the fans are most excited about. Looks like Marvel has some new future plans for Doctor Strange.

Now, the main question is Who is Clea? To sum it up she is Doctor Strange’s love interest. Waldron the writer of “Doctor Strange 2” and “Loki” season 1 explains the character.
Basically, Stephen and Clea are lovers and the two will end up marrying in the dark dimensions which is Clea’s home. Looks like Clea and Doctor Strange are each other’s absolute equals even in the terms of powers. The two share exactly the same mystical abilities creating a “Dynamic Duo.” Waldron also explains why MCU waited so long to introduce her character.
“We knew that we wanted to introduce Clea. She’s Strange’s great love in the comics and it was felt to me like Strange wasn’t at the point at the start of our movie where he was ready to meet the love of his life. It felt like we had to close the loop with him and Christine Palmer. And so after she gives him her wisdom to not be afraid of loving someone, then it felt like we were right to tease what could be eventually with him and Clea.”
Charlize Theron As Clea
Fans have been waiting for Theron to be cast as Wonder Woman or Captain Marvel. But to everyone’s surprise, she has joined the Marvel universe as Clea. The introduction of Charlize Theron as Clea of “Doctor Strange 2” was a huge surprise for the audience.
MCU is lucky to have an actor of her caliber to accept a franchise role. It’s going to be a treat to watch two Oscar-nominated actors Cumberbatch and Theron sharing the screen.
