    Guardians Of The Galaxy Director Responds To LGBTQ+ Activists’ Campaign To Remove Chris Pratt From Marvel

    Guardians of the Galaxy is a 2014 American superhero film based on the comic series of the same name by Marvel studios. The film was distributed by Walt Disney Studios motion picture. James Gunn directed the film which features an ensemble cast of Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper in different roles. Recently, there is a lot of buzz around Chris Pratt’s casting in the film. And now, Director James Gunn has spoken his mind on the issue.

    James Gunn Says Chris Pratt Is Irreplaceable

    In a recent interview, James Gunn defended Chris Pratt when a fan asked him for Sacking the 42-year-old actor.

    Chris Pratt is known for his action films, and Guardians of The Galaxy is one of his biggest blockbusters. This movie had a whopping box office collection of $772.8 million. The actor also faced criticism in 2019 for attending a specific church that people claimed was anti-LGBTQ+.

    Pratt took it to Instagram after the allegations, “It has recently been suggested that I belong to a church which ‘hates a certain group of people’ and is ‘infamously anti-LGBTQ,’” he wrote. “Nothing could be further from the truth. I go to a church that opens its doors to absolutely everyone. Despite what the Bible says about divorce my church community was there for me every step of the way, never judging, just gracefully accompanying me on my walk,” Pratt said.

    The “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” star also noted that although “faith is important” to him “no church defines me or my life, and I am not a spokesman for any church or any group of people.”

    “My values define who I am,” he continued. “We need less hate in this world, not more. I am a man who believes that everyone is entitled to love who they want free from the judgment of their fellow man.”

    Pratt concluded his Instagram post by sharing how his faith navigates him through life.
    “Jesus said, ‘I give you a new command, love one another,’” he wrote. “This is what guides me in my life. He is a God of Love, Acceptance and Forgiveness. Hate has no place in my or this world.”

    In 2020, Pratt was deemed the “worst Hollywood Chris”. His wife came to his rescue on social media. The actor at present signed up for two big-budget films. Jurassic Park dominion and Guardians of Galaxy 3 will release on 10 June 2022 and 5 May 2023 respectively.
