    Every masked caped superhero needs a sidekick to fight off the bad guys. Be it Batman, Joker, or Wonder Woman, everyone has a partner-in-crime. But the most influential and famous of them all is the iconic pair of Batman-Robin, generally referred to as the Dynamic Duo.

    Batman and Robin worked together, fighting the criminals to save Gotham City from corruption. More than a sidekick, Robin is an underrated and uncredited character who often gets overlooked by the superhero. However, we have made a list of all the Batman-Robin duo ranked according to popularity.

    Stephanie Brown first collaborated with Batman and Robin as Spoiler, but after Tim Drake quit his role as Robin, Stephanie was offered the role by Batman. She proved to be a loyal Robin, but sadly she wasn’t all trained as previous sidekicks which led Batman to fire her. To get into his good books, Stephanie enacted one of Batman’s plans to unite Gotham City’s underworld under one leader, but the plan failed miserably which led to her death.

    Jason Todd was just a street kid who Batman took in, but he was extremely adamant and refused to listen to Batman. Todd was voted as the worst Robin in the history of DC comic books. The fans wanted Joker to kill Robin as they didn’t like Jason Todd replacing Dick Grayson. However, the death of Jason was one of the most brutal moments in the Batman comics and few fans may have even forgiven him.

    Everyone wants to be Robin! Duke Thomas made his debut in the ‘We Are..Robinstoryline where all the young vigilantes of Gotham City began fighting for the role of Robin. This led to banning anyone portraying Robin in the city. Among them, Duke helped Bruce Wayne in Zero Year but the only thing that held him down was his inability to match the expectation of Batman’s sidekick. This led Duke to become his own version of The Signal.

    Let’s just say Carrie Kelley saved Batman. In 1986’s ‘The Dark Knight Returns‘, Batman returned to fight the new wave of crime as a one-man army, which nearly killed him. Carrie Kelley followed Batman’s return and saved his life. Then he took Carrie under his wing and trained her to become his successor as she took on the roles of Catgirl and finally Batwoman from Robin. Carrie took the bad influence of some Robins, like Jason Todd and Damian Wayne’s snarky attitudes, which actually worked for her. She wouldn’t quit and be exactly the Robin that Batman needed in this dystopian world.

    The epic father-son duo – Damian Wayne is the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul who was kept a secret and was artificially aged by his mother. She raised him in the League of Assassins to become a highly trained operative at a young age. The New 52 introduced the father and son dynamic duo, with Damian being the Robin. They worked so well in partnership as Damian was highly trained and spent most of his time developing his Teen Titans.

    Tim Drake was a detective who first discovered the secret identity of Dick Grayson as Robin which led him to discover Batman’s real identity – Bruce Wayne. This impressed the Dark Knight and he trained Tim Drake to take up the role of the new Robin. Drake spent a whole year training before he officially joined Batman’s crew. His natural detective ability made him one of the best partners Batman would ever need and both worked together for years before Damian took over.

    Dick Grayson first appeared as Robin the Boy Wonder in 1940 Detective Comics issue 48 which changed many things in Gotham City as Dark Knight evolved into a family man. Batman and Robin spent years together as Dick Grayson matured from Boy Wonder to Teen Wonder to young adult and finally became Nightwing. Grayson was a loyal quick learner and determined. Also, he was one of the only Robins to ever outgrow and become an even bigger hero. Their history only strengthened Batman’s and Robins’s relationship.
