    While there were widespread rumors about her reprisal as Rachel Zane in the sequel of the legal drama ‘Suits, Meghan surprised her fans by appearing in the launch video of her own brand ‘American Riviera Orchard’. The Duchess has since never been seen on screen, either through films, TV shows or social media. However, as the couple stepped down from their royal duties much after the birth of their second child, Markle is now seemingly ready to get back to her job again.

    The 42-year-old Duchess of Sussex is making waves with her latest project ‘American Riviera Orchard’ that has left fans buzzing with anticipation. The Duchess recently unveiled a new website and Instagram page for American Riviera Orchard, hinting at what appears to be a lifestyle brand. While details remain sparse, a peek into the official trademark application offers a glimpse into what might be in store.

    The trademark application, filed on February 2 currently awaits review by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. It lists down a wide array of goods and services like table cutlery, downloadable and printed cookbooks and recipe books, coffee and tea services in the nature of tableware, servingware, decanters, dinnerware, chargers, napkin rings, table place card holders, beverageware, textile tablecloths, placemats and napkins, kitchen and table linens, gift wrap of fabric — plus food!

    Interestingly, retail store services and online retail options are also mentioned, suggesting the possibility of brick-and-mortar stores in addition to an online presence.

Known as the ‘American Riviera’ for its scenic beauty and vibrant culture, Santa Barbara seems to be the inspiration for the venture.

    The launch of ‘American Riviera Orchard’ marks a significant milestone for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Moreover it also coincides with the fourth anniversary of the family’s relocation from Canada to Los Angeles, which Prince Harry described as their “freedom flight” after stepping back from their royal roles in the U.K. in 2020.
