    The Israel-Palestine war has had celebrities choosing sides- which has resulted in many of them being boycotted by fans. Selena Gomez recently came under fire for sharing a post on the war. Kylie Jenner too got heat for supporting Israel.

    Now weeks later both their statements, one of them continues to get hate from users, while the other just dropped a new brand and earned millions on the day of launch. Here’s how netizens reacted to the ‘hypocrite’ standards of social media.

    Selena Gomez recently broke her silence on the tension between Palestine and Israel. The singer stayed neutral and said, “I’m sorry if my words will never be enough for everyone or a hashtag. I just can’t stand by innocent people getting hurt. That’s what makes me sick. I wish I could change the world. But a post won’t.”

    Fans didn’t react well to her post. Many called her out for being one of the most followed persons on the platform and yet not speaking up. Fans were soon boycotting Rare Beauty and calling her out.

    Kylie Jenner also put up a story supporting Israel, which everyone called out, labeling her a Zionist. She lost a lot of followers after the post which she deleted very soon.

    People called out Gomez for being neutral and Jenner for supporting Israel. But a few weeks later, Gomez continued to get hated for her neutral stance while social media users supported Kylie’s new brand. Here’s how fans on X reacted.

    People called them out for their hypocritical remarks when Kylie openly supported Israel.
