The Israel-Palestine war has had celebrities choosing sides- which has resulted in many of them being boycotted by fans. Selena Gomez recently came under fire for sharing a post on the war. Kylie Jenner too got heat for supporting Israel.
Now weeks later both their statements, one of them continues to get hate from users, while the other just dropped a new brand and earned millions on the day of launch. Here’s how netizens reacted to the ‘hypocrite’ standards of social media.

Selena Gomez recently broke her silence on the tension between Palestine and Israel. The singer stayed neutral and said, “I’m sorry if my words will never be enough for everyone or a hashtag. I just can’t stand by innocent people getting hurt. That’s what makes me sick. I wish I could change the world. But a post won’t.”

What makes me mad is why just Selena, what about Kylie, Ronaldo with the most instagram followers ever and Messi. Why just Selena needs to speak up when the others can be quiet and do nothing. Make it make sense. https://t.co/iBYqdXFC5J— GLOBAL PRINCESS ☀️ (@SelenaGqueens) November 3, 2023
